These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Oasis Arcade Wausau website and your visits to our physical venue at 102 Jefferson St, Wausau, WI 54403. By using this Site or visiting the venue, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this Site or entering the venue, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and that you agree to these Terms.
2. Website Use
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You may not scrape, copy, or reproduce content without written permission, attempt unauthorized access, transmit harmful or deceptive content, or use the Site to infringe on third-party rights.
3. Venue Conduct
All guests agree to:
- Treat staff and other guests with respect
- Comply with all posted venue rules and staff instructions
- Not damage arcade equipment, pinball machines, or venue property
- Not bring prohibited substances, weapons, or contraband onto the premises
- Not engage in unlawful conduct on the premises
Oasis Arcade reserves the right to remove any guest from the premises without refund for violation of these rules or at management's sole discretion.
4. Alcohol Service
Oasis Arcade Wausau holds a Wisconsin alcohol beverage license and serves alcohol in compliance with Wis. Stat. § 125. You must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Valid government-issued photo ID is required. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any person at any time. Guests are responsible for their own alcohol consumption and behavior.
5. Arcade Equipment & Token Use
All arcade games, pinball machines, and equipment are used at the guest's own risk. We are not liable for:
- Equipment malfunctions or technical interruptions
- Token loss due to machine malfunction (replacement tokens or store credit may be issued at management's discretion)
- Personal injury resulting from normal gameplay
Token purchases are final. Unused tokens are non-refundable except in cases of verified machine malfunction as described in our Refunds Policy at /refunds.
6. Intellectual Property
All website content including branding, logos, photography, graphics, and written materials are owned by Oasis Arcade or Powers Creative Enterprises (LLC in Formation) or are licensed for use. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
7. Private Event Bookings
Private event bookings are subject to our Event Liability Policy at /event-liability. A deposit may be required to confirm a booking. Booking dates are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing. Cancellation policies apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.
8. User-Submitted Content
By submitting reviews, messages, photos, or other content, you grant Oasis Arcade and Powers Creative Enterprises (LLC in Formation) a non-exclusive license to use that content for promotional and operational purposes, including display on the Site and social media.
9. Reviews & Testimonials
All reviews displayed on this Site are from real guests. We comply with FTC guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255). We do not fabricate or incentivize reviews without clear disclosure.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
This Site and venue services are provided "as is." We make no warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that venue events will occur exactly as listed. Event details are subject to change.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin and federal law, Oasis Arcade and Powers Creative Enterprises (LLC in Formation) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, attendance at the venue, use of arcade equipment, or reliance on any information on this Site.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oasis Arcade and Powers Creative Enterprises (LLC in Formation) from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, attendance at the venue, violation of these Terms, or your negligence.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Marathon County, Wisconsin.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
